Engineering involves gathering requirements or identifying problems and designing, building, testing, deploying and operating that software reliably to solve for them. At Distilled, Engineering is broken out into multiple disciplines.

Front-end Engineers focus on building user interfaces for the web. Mobile Engineers build user interfaces for mobile devices. Back-end Engineers focus on building the applications and API’s that deliver data to our interfaces. Data Engineers focus on getting data reliably from source to destination so that we can drive insights and analysis. QA Engineers focus on giving confidence that our software works as expected. Solution Architects find technology solutions to business problems and focus on vision and strategy and influence decisions on languages, frameworks and tooling. Site Reliability Engineers focus on how we do all of the above reliably and at scale.
